Community rules
Yusho is for fans who care about what they watch. Disagree as hard as you like about anime: that's the point. These rules keep it about the shows. You agree to them before your first follow, comment or recommendation, and they're part of the terms.
1. Talk about the show, not the person
A take you hate is fair game. The fan who wrote it isn't. No insults, harassment, threats or pile-ons, and no attacking anyone for who they are: their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or age.
2. Spoilers go behind the switch
Reviews have a spoiler section and comments have a "Contains spoilers" switch. Anything past the first episode of what someone's reacting to goes behind them.
3. No hate, harassment or sexual content. Ever.
Yusho has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. That includes hate speech, sexual content of any kind (and anything sexual involving minors, which is reported to the authorities), violent threats, encouraging self-harm, sharing someone's private information, impersonating someone, and spam.
4. Report what breaks these
Every profile, review, verdict, comment and shared list has Report. A moderator looks at every report within a day. The person you report is never told who reported them. You can also block anyone, at any time: you stop seeing each other entirely, and they aren't told.
What happens when someone breaks them
- What broke the rules is removed, and its author is told it was removed under these rules.
- An account that keeps breaking them, or breaks them badly once, is suspended: its profile and everything it wrote disappear for everyone else, and it can't post.
- Yusho filters some words before they're posted, so a few things can't be written at all.
